Connecting with Nature...
Furkids R' Us was born in 2006, when Shawna Ricci and
Angie Gatlin turned their love of animals into a successful
business. It has continued to grow and now includes a team
of pet sitters that care for furkids in various parts of Bucks &
Montgomery counties. Furkids offers professional, high
quality, in-home care for your furry family members when you
can't be there to take care of them yourself. We understand
how scary it is to leave your "kids" in someone else's care,
and we pride ourselves in giving each animal in our care the
same love and respect that we give to our own. Although
Furkids began its journey with pet sitting, it has expanded its
services to providing behavior counseling and now Reiki
energy healing sessions as well.
Angie Gatlin turned their love of animals into a successful

Shawna Ricci, Owner/Pet Sitter/Trainer - A graduate of West
Chester University with a BA in Psychology, Shawna has 8
years of experience in the human services field-working with
adults with mental illness and/or traumatic brain injuries and
children with autism. Certified in basic obedience through
Animal Behavior College, she continues to study animal and
human behavior while providing behavior counseling for dogs
and their owners. She has 7 years of experience working with
rescue dogs, as well as her own pack at home. Shawna is
certified in Reiki Level II of the Usui System of Natural
Healing. Her passion is to assist animals and their humans
in achieving peace, and to help people understand what their
dogs need from them in order to fulfill their needs and sustain
a balanced, healthy relationship.
